   I’ve got three cats and they love it…however, please note that the quoted Amazon price for shipping is a tad over $30…on top on the $89 price. I went to the Armakat home site and found the same product for $109…and they made a point of saying FREE SHIPPING to anywhere in the continental U.S., and I’ll let you do the math. Amazon goes on about how they calculate shipping rates and how they want us to understand about mail order and all, but really…either Armakat or Amazon are being just a little too tricky here. I bought this direct and saved the $10.

   my cat loves it, I love it, everyone loves it! the scratchpoles are really cool. in fact, we have tried a whole lot of things for scratching, but she didn’t like them and continued spoilting the furniture, but this one is different and everyone’s happy now!

   We recently adopted a kitty from the local animal shelter and found that we didn’t have much for her to climb on. When we brought her home, we also found that she loved to play and that she was teething! This product helped us with all of those things. She loves to climb up and down the condo, she can chew on the ropes, there are dangly toys for her to bat at, poles for her to scratch, and there are even places for her to sleep and just hang out. This product was very easy to put together and has brought our kitty lots of joy!

   I ordered this after I read the other reviews. Following the advice of previous reviews, I checked this item directly with Armacat – they now wanted over $230 for this item, and with ebay – the lowest price was $130, so Amazon still had the best deal. I was a little apprehensive about putting it together, but when I considered the savings over buying one already assembled from my local pet store, I decided to try it. I figured if I can put together Ikea furniture, I can do this:)

   It arrived quickly, and was simple to put together – I completed it in less than 20 minutes. One tip: when using the double sided screws, don’t screw one end in completely and then attempt to screw in the other side. The screw is too short for this to work. Instead, scew one side in part way, then the other, and twist the leg to make sure they are tightly secured in place.

   My 3 cats LOVE it – there is something that suits each of their personalities on there. My 11 month old was climbing it as I was trying to put it together – he just couldn’t wait to try it! Of course, he liked the box it came in too.

   The only thing I found surprising was that the “tunnel” on top is pretty small – only a kitten could really fit inside of it. Overall, I’m very happy with it and would not hesitate to order from them again.

   I am already the owner of another model Armarkat cat tower, and am very satisfied with the solid construction of both. THis particular model,A6202,is a little bit top heavy. It needs a wider base to keep the tower more stable. My cat is only a few months old and only 5lbs., but the whole tower sways a bit when she’s on the top platform. A full grown, boisterous cat may very well be able to tip this one over. If braced or secured to the floor better, it works great. It’s tall enough that my cat can look me straight in the eye from her top perch, and I’m 5′11”. She makes full use of every inch of the tower, even the hammock. Very satisfied with my purchase.

   The packaging was good, but when it arrived at my house, the top of the box was completely covered in bird crap! I was home when it was delivered, and brought it in immediately, so it had to have been from the warehouse or during the shipping process. The box was intact with the contents were unharmed, but I damn near had to use gloves to get it open without fear of getting ringworm. Otherwise a pleasant experience with purchase and use. Has anyone else received merchandise from Gulf Coast in similar condition?
